Faith In Blue, " What I Wish My Parents Knew"
Our children carry thoughts, feelings, and challenges they may not always know how to express. The “What I Wish My Parents Knew” Youth Mental Health Summit creates a safe space for youth and parents to have honest conversations, listen without judgment, and learn from one another. The summit will feature two separate panel discussions—one for parents and one for youth—giving each group a safe space to speak openly, share experiences, and discuss positive solutions.
Topics will include mental health, bullying, peer pressure, suicide prevention, substance misuse, and other challenges affecting today’s youth.
Lunch will be included!

As we observe Gun Violence Awareness Month this June, it is crucial to shift our focus from merely acknowledging the issue to actively seeking and implementing solutions. The "Hope After Fire" Gun Violence Prevention Awareness Event, which takes place on Sunday, June 21st as part of the Lowcountry Juneteenth celebration, embodies this transformative approach.
In today's world, gun violence has become a global epidemic, affecting countless lives and communities. Recognizing the urgency of the situation, our event is designed not just to gather and raise awareness, but to provide tangible solutions aimed at ending gun violence. We believe in a holistic approach that supports the entire family, offering services and resources that can make a real difference and move the needle in a positive direction.

End of Summer Community Day: A Day of Fun, Learning, and Giving Back!
Every 1 Voice Matters and A Second Chance Resource Center were thrilled to team up with The Middleton Family Foundation and NBA star Khris Middleton for an unforgettable End-of-Summer Community Day! This special family event brought our community together for a day of fun and giving back.
The Middleton Family Foundation generously provided free food, exciting games, and activities for the children, including a game truck, jump castles, skating, and more. To make the day even more memorable, they also sponsored 200 Nike gift cards, ensuring our kids step into the new school year with brand-new sneakers!
Throughout the summer, our camp attendees enjoyed a variety of enriching activities such as creative arts, golf, self-defense, and outdoor sports. But it wasn’t just about fun—our kids also had the opportunity to learn important life skills. Through engaging activities, they explored financial literacy, positive mindset development, reading, math, and much more.

Every year, Every 1 Voice Matters spreads holiday joy through our Annual Christmas Giveback, providing essential gifts to children in low-income communities. This heartwarming event ensures that over 700 children receive brand-new coats, 300+ receive new toys, and 200 receive new bikes, bringing smiles and warmth to families in need.
With an annual attendance of 600-800+ people, this event is more than just a giveaway—it’s a celebration of community, generosity, and the spirit of giving. Through the support of donors, volunteers, and partners, we make sure that every child experiences the magic of the holiday season, feeling seen, valued, and cared for.
At Every 1 Voice Matters, we believe that every child deserves joy, warmth, and hope—especially during the holidays.
Unity Fest: Balling For A Cause
Balling For A Cause is a powerful community event dedicated to raising awareness about substance abuse prevention and anti-bullying. Hosted by Every 1 Voice Matters, this event uses the excitement of basketball to engage youth while delivering an important message about making positive life choices.
Bringing together local leaders, mentors, and athletes, Balling For A Cause promotes teamwork, resilience, and the importance of standing against bullying and substance abuse. Through interactive activities, guest speakers, and community involvement, we empower youth to build confidence, make healthy decisions, and support one another.
Together, we’re taking a stand—on and off the court!
